Eat Pray Love

These are my favorite quotes so far from the book that I read at the moment

"When I get lonely these days, I think: So BE lonely, Liz. Learn your way around loneliness. Make a map of it. Sit with it, for once in your life. Welcome to the human experience. But never again use another person's body or emotions as a scratching post for your own unfulfilled yearnings."
—
Elizabeth Gilbert

"People universally tend to think that happiness is a stroke of luck, something that will descend upon you like fine weather if you're fortunate enough. But that's not how happiness works. Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes travel the around the world looking for it....Once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it, you must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it"

Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia is a 2006 memoir by American author and memoirist Elizabeth Gilbert. The memoir chronicles the author's trip around the world after her divorce, and what she discovered during her travels.

The movie rights for the memoir have been purchased by Paramount Pictures, and is planned to be a star vehicle for American actress Julia Roberts. (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eat,_Pray,_Love)
